Introduction to Guo Lin Qigong

Guo Lin Qigong, a heritage of the Chinese ancient qigong (氣功), was created by Master Guo Lin, a famous Chinese artist, based on her experiences while fighting cancer. She adopted the essence of ancient qigong and traditional Chinese medical theory about meridians (jingluo 經絡), qi (a homonym of “air” or “breath”, refers to a kind of energy substance within the body) and blood. It has been practiced by thousands of people proving its benefits during recovery from cancer and in prevention of cancers, enhancing the immune system and achieving longevity. It is easy to learn and has no side effect.

Practicing Guo Lin Qigong can regulate the body and mind, and boost the immune system against diseases by adjusting the body’s endocrine to the best situation and enhancing the microcirculation if the practitioners practice with natural relaxation and tranquillization.

Guo Lin Qigong is an oxygen absorbing exercise. It is believed that cancer cells thrive in low-oxygen environment, and high pressure oxygen can suppress or kill cancer cells and even get rid of liver cancer lumps. But inhaling too much high pressure oxygen will harm the body, so it cannot be used to treat cancer patients. Practicing Guo Lin Qigong can help create an oxygen-rich condition in which cancer cells cannot survive. No other physical exercise or qigong can beat Guo Lin Qigong in this respect.

The body’s internal yin and yang can be balanced, blockages of the meridians can be cleared, the flow of qi and blood can be stimulated, and body cells’ electrical potential difference can be adjusted by practicing GuoLin Qigong, thus suppressing cancer cells and stimulating normal cells. The practitioners’ brain activities are also better organized, thus improving vitality. So practicing Guo Lin Qigong consistently can improve our health and achieve longevity.

Thousands and thousands of people are practicing Guo Lin Qigong all over the world. Among them are cancer patients, chronic disease patients and healthy persons. The Chinese Cancer Hospital of Chinese Science and Academy Institute, the Beijing Cancer Hospital, the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society and several hospitals in Hong Kong are using Guo Lin Qigong as one of key treatments for cancer patients during their recovery. By walking with hands and feet moving in proper gestures, and co-ordinating with rhythmic breathing (inhaling twice and exhaling once), practitioners absorb a large quantity of oxygen so that their meridians can be regulated, flow of qi and blood can be stimulated, and their body and mind can be nourished. Thousands of practitioners suffering from medium or late stage cancers, or chronic diseases, have been cured by consistently practising Guo Lin Qigong.
